DJ Format and You wanna what Lip Sync

The first thing we did to get ready for our music video project was to go into one of the media rooms and try to edit a music video. To do this we were given clips from the video and told to sync them up and then cut them into appropriate bits.

The first one we did was a DJ Format song, where we were given seven different songs, and we had to choose one of them and put the video to it. This was quite a fun task, because you didn't have to sync it up properly as you couldn't see the mouths moving, you simply had to make sure the movement fit in with the mood of the song.

The next thing we had to do was sync up some video some students recorded to a song (You wanna what?). This was pretty easy as we had the master track, and the audio from the recording they did. All we had to do was find the same place in both songs, mark them and line them up. Then it was just a matter of cutting seemingly at random to create something presentable.
